Even though the Sivoia QED® system can operate shades up to 225 square feet, Lutron offers a full line of AC systems for various applications. AC, or line-voltage, systems are suited for larger applications such as atriums and window walls. Lutron’s proprietary roller systems employ up to a 5.5” roller tube and a bracket design that allows shade spans of 20 feet with minimal tube deflection.
Also, Lutron’s group motor controller is easy-to-use for the installer and offers many beneficial features such as clearly separated low and line-voltage wiring and the ability to reverse shade direction right from the controller.
