Security Integration for RadioRA® 2

Lutron has developed significant RadioRA 2 integration capabilities with leading security manufacturers' intrusion panels. Honeywell®, Tyco, HAI and Elk intrusion panels can now be directly integrated to RadioRA 2 via the RS-232 interface on the main repeater. By connecting to the IBM developer cloud environment, not only can homeowners see and control the environment in a room through remote monitoring, but the home can automatically make decisions by using data available in the cloud. For example, if a change in weather occurs while a home is unoccupied, a smart thermostat can automatically respond to local weather reports to save energy.

Eaton Remote Control Circuit Breaker

Lutron can now integrate with Eaton® remote controlled circuit breakers via HomeWorks QS and RadioRA 2 through a keypad button press, timeclock event, or the Home Control+ app via iPod®, iPod touch®, iPad®† and Android†† mobile devices. This gives the homeowner the ability to save energy by turning off large energy-consuming appliances such as water heaters and pool pumps when they’re not needed.
