Interior daylight can be generated by direct sunlight or reflections from clouds, surrounding buildings, and/or light colored interior walls. Daylight management is the use of shading systems to regulate the penetration and intensity of daylight into a space. A well-engineered shading system consists of controllable window treatments with the proper fabric for attenuating light penetration.

Lutron is pleased to introduce GreenScreen Revive†, one of the most environmentally-friendly fabrics on the market today. In addition to its sustainable properties and functionality, this beautiful roller shade fabric has a soft look and feel, making it an ideal choice for commercial or residential settings. It is available in 1% and 5% openness factors and eight premium colors.

GreenScreen Revive is comprised of 89% REPREVE® polyester (pre- and post-consumer waste) recycled content, which is sourced primarily from plastic water bottles. This fabric is Cradle to Cradle Certified® ††, GREENGUARD® Certified†††, and earned the Window Coverings Manufacturers Association (WCMA) award for Sustainability: Most Innovative Overall Concept.

The REPREVE Process


Post-industrial fiber waste and post- consumer plastics are collected.		The collected waste then enters a unique material conversion process where it is chopped, ground, melted and reformulated.		REPREVE, a 100% recycled chip, is formed.††††		The recycled chip is extruded and textured through a proprietary process, creating REPREVE – a family of first quality recycled yarns.
