Lutron Palladiom Shading System Expands on Successful Introduction with New Finishes

Luxury shades line epitomizes elegant design, refined aesthetic.

Coopersburg, PA (September 6th, 2018) – Building on the successful introduction of its Palladiom Shading System, lighting and shade control leader Lutron Electronics is introducing two new lustrous bracket finishes. This addition rounds out the current Palladiom bracket offering of Satin Nickel, Black Anodized, Clear Anodized and Pure White finishes.

The Palladiom Shading System – a finely crafted exposed bracket system designed for the world’s most exclusive residences – was introduced in 2017 at CEDIA Expo. The system is offered through select Lutron dealers specializing in shading solutions for luxury clientele. This luxe shade offering was quickly embraced by interior designers and architects. and is now featured in hundreds of dealer showrooms – and private residences -- across the country.

“With its highly crafted exposed hardware and whisper-quiet motors, the elegant Palladiom Shading System is the pinnacle of Lutron’s industry-leading window treatments,” said Ed Blair, Executive Vice-President at Lutron. “These new additions reinforce Palladiom’s reputation as the go-to choice for designer shading solutions.”

All Palladiom finishes are hand-polished, with a unibody structure that combines superior workmanship with ingeniously hidden electronics. These designer-facing solutions will meet the needs of any homeowner looking to accentuate a style that evokes a deep-rooted legacy of culture and taste.

New Aesthetic Options
Lutron has also released a decorative cover, an aesthetic extension that slides over the bracket to mask visible fabric edges on the roll, and to more prominently display the beautiful shade hardware. In addition, Lutron has announced an extended bracket to support 3.5-inch rollup diameters, essentially expanding the selection of fabrics that can cover a 12’ tall window with this solution.

The new finishes and extended brackets are beautiful additions to the established Palladiom line of shades, coordinating keypads, thermostats, and accessories, and begin shipping in early 2019. Together, they give discerning homeowners the ability to match aesthetics throughout a space without compromise.
