What rooms are good for dimmers?
Dimmers are great for any room where you want to change the ambiance. With just a touch, you can transform a family room from game night (bright light) to movie night (dim light). Or create soft light in the kitchen for a quiet dinner, in the bathroom for unwinding, or in the nursery for late night feedings.
How do I know which dimmer is right for my home?
Lutron standalone dimmers come in two distinct styles:
*Simple slide dimmers; you use the slider to adjust the light level. Our slide dimmer families include Diva, Ariadni, Skylark Contour, and Lumea.
*Digital dimmers; you use the tapswitch to turn lights on your favorite level. These dimmers have a customizable delayed fade-to-off, which lets you leave a room before the lights go out. Maestro is our digital dimmer family.
All of our dimmer families include C·L options. C·L dimmers were designed specifically for controlling dimmable LEDs (they also work with incandescents and halogens). Currently, our C·L dimmers work with over 1,000 LEDs (we’ve tested them for compatibility).
