Live, Learn, & Work in the Right Light

Dimmers are great for any room where you want to change the ambiance. With just a touch, you can transform a family room from game night (bright light) to movie night (dim light). Or create soft light in the kitchen for a quiet dinner, in the bathroom for unwinding, or in the nursery for late-night feedings.

Lutron standalone dimmers come in two distinct styles: 
*Simple slide dimmers – use the slider to adjust the light level. Our slide dimmer families include Diva, Ariadni, Skylark Contour, and Lumea. 
*Digital dimmers – use the tapswitch to turn lights on to your favorite level. These dimmers have a customizable, delayed fade-to-off which lets you leave a room before the lights go out. Maestro is our digital dimmer family. 
All of our dimmer families include LED+ options. LED+ dimmers were designed specifically for controlling dimmable LEDs (they also work with incandescents and halogens). Currently, our LED+ dimmers work with over 1,000 LEDs (we’ve tested them for compatibility).

The right sensor depends on what you want the sensor to do for you, as well as your electrical requirements. 
*Occupancy sensors turn lights on when you enter a room and turn them off when you leave. 
*Vacancy sensors turn lights off when you leave a room, but you need to turn them on manually. 
*Dimmer sensors, which are available in occupancy and vacancy models, turn lights on to a favorite dimmed level.

Any room that you enter frequently with your arms full, like a garage or a laundry room, is good for a sensor. Sensors are also great for rooms where lights are often accidentally left on, such as bathrooms and kids’ bedrooms.

The number of bulbs you can control depends on the type of bulbs and how many watts they use. Please see the Quick Start Guide for your dimmer or switch for information about the maximum wattage for various bulb types.

Yes. In one of the switch locations you’ll need to install a Caséta Wireless in-wall dimmer. In all other switch locations for that light source, you’ll need to install Pico remotes. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this, watch the “3-way switch application” video.

Shades save energy by: 
Reducing heating and cooling costs. Lowering shades in the summer prevents the sun’s harsh rays from heating up a room (and causing an air conditioner to work overtime), while raising them in the winter captures heat from those rays. 
Providing insulation. Serena insulating honeycomb shades have air pockets built into their fabric that provide insulation. These air pockets help keep your house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Serena shades can be operated by talking to Siri in your home when you have a 2nd-generation Lutron Smart Hub connected to WiFi and the free Lutron App installed on an iOS device using iOS9 or higher with Apple® HomeKit. 
CasétaWireless light controls can be operated by talking to Siri in your home when you have a 2nd-generation Lutron Smart Hub connected to WiFi and the free Lutron App installed on an iOS device with Apple® HomeKit. 
Operating any HomeKit-enabled products outside the home talking to Siri requires 4th-generation Apple TV.
