Barcelona, Spain - 3 February 2026 – Lutron Electronics, a trusted global leader in intelligent lighting, motorised window treatments and intuitive control systems, has today unveiled the next major chapter in luxury residential lighting. Lutron’s new Intelligent Lighting portfolio represents a fully realised vision of seamlessly integrated, deeply experiential lighting for the home, elevated by advanced wireless control that transforms design freedom and unlocks new possibilities for industry professionals.
For decades, Lutron has helped designers and integrators shape how light supports the way people live: waking us gently, energising our mornings, calming our evenings, and enriching the moments in between. Yet, most of today’s lighting remains static - limited to basic on/off functionality and failing to deliver the personalised, human‑centric experiences homeowners increasingly expect. Lutron’s Intelligent Lighting changes that. By unifying control of natural light, electric light, and the systems that harmonise them, Lutron empowers professionals to design truly bespoke environments in the world’s finest homes, now on a global scale.
“Light shapes how we feel, how we live, and how we experience our homes,” said Ben Bard, Vice President Luxury Residential at Lutron. “With Intelligent Lighting, we’re giving integrators and designers an entirely new product category to craft that experience with unprecedented precision and beauty and grow their business. ISE attendees can explore the new lighting portfolio in detail and step into immersive environments that bring Intelligent Lighting to life.”
Intelligent Lighting represents a paradigm shift for integrators and their clients, providing a seamless, fully addressable lighting ecosystem with wireless flexibility. Since the intelligence resides within the fixture itself instead of the control wire, system set up and configuration is faster and re-zoning can be effortlessly achieved. Eliminating control wire also frees up significant rack room installation space which can be re-purposed for other client uses, such as wine cellars, extra storage, etc.
Today, Lutron is proudly introducing Ketra and Orluna, two fully complementary product families within the Intelligent Lighting portfolio. Innovations from both brands are being revealed at the show with a range of form factors, including downlights, lamps, and linear lighting fixtures from Ketra, and downlights, tape, cylinders, uplights, and floorwash fixtures from Orluna. These products will begin a phased roll out from February 2026, with additional launches throughout the year including for the Middle East. Integrators and designers should consult their local Lutron representative for details.
Ketra is the world’s most innovative light source, delivering dynamic, perfectly tunable light that adapts to every moment and mood. Engineered to replicate the beauty and dynamism of natural daylight, Ketra enables seamless shifts in colour, temperature, and intensity. It matches the homeowner’s activities, and moods throughout the day. With industry‑leading colour consistency, precision control, and full integration into Lutron’s intelligent ecosystems, Ketra empowers designers and integrators to create richly layered, emotionally resonant environments that elevate every moment.
Orluna, a company acquired by Lutron in June 2025, is the foundation of Intelligent Lighting, offering masterfully engineered decorative and architectural luminaires with uncompromising quality and perfect colour consistency across every layer of light. Renowned for its meticulous optical design and unwavering colour fidelity, Orluna ensures that layers of light blend elegantly and harmoniously within the home’s aesthetic. Now fully integrated into Lutron’s intelligent control ecosystem, Orluna provides designers and integrators with a highly versatile, individually addressable lighting platform that enables quick and easy scene creation, simplified installation, and a new level of creative freedom.
