Lutron Electronics Announces 2015 Excellence Award Winners; Inducts two Companies into Lutron Hall of Fame

Coopersburg, PA (October 20, 2015)Lutron Electronics, the leader in energy-saving wireless light and shade control, has announced the winners of its annual Excellence Award competition and the 2015 Lutron Hall of Fame inductees. The announcements were made at the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Established in 2003, the Excellence Awards competition recognizes the world’s best total-home control projects using Lutron light, shade, and temperature controls, appliance modules, third-party equipment, and more. More than 100 of Lutron’s residential system providers have been honored since the competition’s introduction.

The 2015 Excellence Award winners are:
  1. Best Commercial Project – Lext Vision, Inc. (Skokie, IL)
  2. Best Nautical Installation- Audio Contract (Kiev, Ukraine)
  3. Best Showroom Experience- DEL Motorized Solutions (Bensalem, PA)
  4. Most Environmentally-Conscious Design- Chesley Electric (Park City, UT)
  5. Best Engineered System- ZIO (Winter Park, FL)
  6. Essence of Pleasance- Maxicon (Miami, FL)
  7. Best Interior Lighting Design- Gramophone (Timonium, MD)
  8. Best Integrated Home- Evolution Video & Sound (Calgary, Alberta, Canada)
  9. Best Shade Installation/Design- Chesley Electric (Park City, UT)
  10. Most Creative Application- Bishop Electric (Carlisle, IA)
  11. Best Control of Natural Light- Eco High Fidelity (Carrollton, TX)
  12. Project of the Year- SM Contracts (London, England, United Kingdom)

In 2009, the Lutron Hall of Fame was created to recognize excellence and dedication in the marketplace. Potential inductees are evaluated on several components: years of doing business with Lutron, loyalty, reputation, dedication to their business, market expansion efforts, execution of initiatives, project innovations using Lutron products and revenue growth.

The 2015 Lutron Hall of Fame inductees are:

  2. Best Lighting Controls and Integration (Lake Park, FL)
